THE SECOND INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION IN GREAT BRITAIN

Great Britain was by the Second Industrial Revolution already industrialized and leading economic power. But after 1870 Great Britain began to loose it's leading role. For that reason technical progress in Great Britain after 1870 developed slowly, while large investments into banking business made Great Britain the leading world bank and lender.
